On offer is a sensational relic of historical Americana and ephemera being a handwritten 'Declaration of Independence' created by an 81 year old Georgia man as a gift. Just superb, this framed 15" x 17" inch manuscript is done in a fine, naive, calligraphic hand is inscribed at the bottom and with some little difficulty we find: "To Elliott Harmon A------- Fourth of July, 1951.Savannah,Gerorgia", the back is written in pencil "By ---mony W. Butler, Age 81". Absolutely super patriotic manuscript an ideal for collectors of unique Americana. VG.
