On offer is an original card signed on the reverse by noted American author Francis Marion Crawford, along with additional unidentified signature(s) dated January 23, 1896. The front of the card bears an embossed crest with the latin phrase "Nec Tiemo Nec Sperno" (I neither fear nor despise) and an additional name - Milo? Bell.

Francis Marion Crawford was born in Tuscany, the only son of famed American sculptor Thomas Gibson Crawford, and authored dozens of novels of a weird and fantastical nature, with many set in Italy.

This thick card measures 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches. It demonstrates age toning and minimal wear for age. Condition is Good.
