1933 Toronto Royal York Hotel Envelope Signed by British Labour Politician Dudley Leigh Aman, Anti-Hitler and Pro-Jewish Advocate
12386On offer is a unique envelope from the Royal York Hotel, Toronto, signed "Marley" by the First Baron Marley, Dudley Leigh Aman, and dated March 5th, 1933.
Aman (1884-1952) was a decorated British soldier, Labour politician, and diplomat. He served as Chairman of the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for the Aid of Jews in Europe, and contributed the introduction to the anti-facist publication The Brown Book of the Reichstag Fire and Hitler Terror. (August 1933).
This envelope is intact, unsealed, and empty, featuring the hotel name and emblem printed on the flap in blue. It measures 5-3/4 x 3-3/4 inches and its condition is Good.
