1897 Letter From Comedic Stage Actress Frances "Fanny" Whiteside Brough
12443On offer, an autographed letter on 12 Cavendish Road, St. John's Wood blue embossed type letterhead, dated Feb 16th, 97. Letter reads:

Very many thanks for yr letter. I enclose cheque for the amount due & with very kind regards I remain yrs sincerely,

Frances "Fanny" Whiteside Brough (1852-1914) was a Paris-born British stage actress who came from a literary and dramatic family. She is remembered especially for her many comedy roles performed over a four decade long career.
This double sided letter is 4-½ x 6 inches, with a horizontal fold crease, some minor discolouration on the back, and a rough left edge. Anachronistic notation in upper left corner. Condition is Good.
