1930s - 1940s ORIGINAL ARCHIVE OF THREE [3] SCRAPBOOKS OF A NEWLY ARRIVED DANISH IMMIGRANT AND HER EMBRACING LIFE IN AMERICA AND HER DEDICATED CONTRIBUTION TO THE AMERICAN WAY

On offer is a super, massive archive of three [3] circa 1930s - 1940s scrapbooks detailing the emigration from Denmark and her embracing and love for her new American way of life compiled Magda Hanson who came to America and became a citizen and a resident of Greenwich Connecticut. Miss Hansen was born Aug. 30 1897 in Copenhagen Denmark and came to the USA. In 1924 becoming a naturalized citizen in 1939. She voted for the first time in 1940 and had been very active in all the War Bond drives. Her brother was killed in the First World War in France, and during the Second World War her niece and nephew served in the Danish underground. These volumes contain her travels, associates, business and pleasure, photos, telegrams, cards, letters from world dignitary, poetry, logs, and much, much more.
