1899 ORIGINAL TYPED MANUSCRIPT REPORT MADE FOR THE PRUDENTIAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY REGARDING THE MORTALITY OF POTTERY CRAFTSMEN
1829On offer is a fascinating relic of late 19th Century medical analysis specific to craftsmen of pottery being a typed manuscript titled the "Final Report on Mortality and Disease Liability of Potters". It is dated Dec. 21 1899. The cover is handwritten but the document is typed, and all tied together with ribbons at the top. It is 124 pages long and last page is signed by FL Hoffman [Frederick L. Hoffman, LLD 1865 - 1946] of the Prudential Life Insurance Company, in their statistical department, He was a leader in Government Health Policy during this period. The condition is good for its age; it is intact, little damage to papers, discoloration from age and some corner and paper edge wear.
