On offer is an original July 28 1887 handwritten request that had been sent to the printers in Gardiner Maine as advertisement for a baseball game "Between Bath vs. Gardiner Goodmen, on the common, Thursday July 28th '87. Game called at 2.30 Sharp. Bath Battery - Brown and Dunning. Goodmen Battery - McKenny and Hutchings. The Baths are newly organized and are a strong Team, Gardiner will also present a strong team, and a fine Game is expected." Super early Baseball collectible.
