Fully written, Miss Brown is a superb diarist naming any and all she comes into contact - from school, visits, family events and social times. Save for one day when Josephine was very ill and only wrote a couple of lines each day is detailed. Deeply religious our author mentions sermons, her devotion but at times her difficulties too. Local historians and genealogists will find this a treasure of local history and information.
