CIRCA 1905 PHOTO ALBUM SHOWING YALE UNIVERSITY'S ELITE AT PLAY AND STUDY
764Tax included.
On offer is an excellent circa early 1900s photo album showing the early days of 'Yalie' Harold Sherman Wells at Yale University. Nine pages of old railroad cars, desk spaces, Yale decorated rooms, African American cooks, steamships, captains, and very early photos of Victorian ladies and gentlemen. African American Chef in full uniform and the steamship captain in the rowboat is a super shot. The photo book is leather bound with linen paper pages. The back of the book bears a label from Robinson & Adams, Co, and is stated as a Housh Album. Nicely kept with the collection, this photo album offers further insight into the early years of the Yale elite.
