On offer is a sweet and very charming handwritten Book of Memories all dedicated to the owner Miss Susannah [Susan] Guptill. As noted on the inside fep it appears Miss Guptill became Susan Morrie at some later date as there is a pencil notation "Presented by Susan Morrie" to B. J. Guptill in 1859. Lovely marbelized cover and leather spine cap on this once premium journal style album. A number of the entries are accompanied by some wonderful calligraphy and naive folk art.
