2008 FASCINATING ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT NOTEBOOK AND STREAM OF CONCIOUSNESS JOURNAL OF AN AFRICAN AMERICAN STAND UP COMIC
8114On offer is an interesting, unattributed, undated 21-page notepad of an African American stand-up comedian written sometime after 2008 (from references to President Barack Obama), this stream-of conciousness, rather profane narrative gives an insight into the hard-scrabble life of poor, inner-city blacks. For a social or urban historian, these jokes gloss over the grim realities experienced by many who inhabit a partially-hidden underclass. Replete with references to sex, it also includes some interesting observations about policing in inner cities. EDITOR'S NOTE: While no location is mentioned we have anecdotal information that the author lived in Los Angeles. The book was also sourced there.; Manuscript; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall; KEYWORDS: HISTORY OF, AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT, 21ST CENTURY, BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY; BLACK HUMOUR; INNER CITY LIFE; BLACK COMEDIAN, STAND-UP COMEDY, HUMOUR AND PROFANITY, URBAN LIFE, 21ST CENTURY POP CULTURE, URBAN UNDERCLASS IN CONTEMPORARY AMERICA, STANDUP JOKES, AMERICANA, HANDWRITTEN, MANUSCRIPT, DOCUMENT, LETTER, AUTOGRAPH, WRITER, HAND WRITTEN, DOCUMENTS, SIGNED, LETTERS, MANUSCRIPTS, DIARY, DIARIES, JOURNALS, PERSONAL HISTORY, SOCIAL HISTORY, HISTORICAL, HOLOGRAPH, WRITERS, AUTOGRAPHS, PERSONAL, MEMOIR, MEMORIAL, ANTIQUITÉ, CONTRAT, VÉLIN, DOCUMENT, MANUSCRIT, PAPIER ANTIKE, BRIEF, PERGAMENT, DOKUMENT, MANUSKRIPT, PAPIER OGGETTO D'ANTIQUARIATO, ATTO, VELINA, DOCUMENTO, MANOSCRITTO, CARTA ANTIGÜEDAD, HECHO, VITELA, DOCUMENTO, MANUSCRITO, PAPEL
