Contents explaining why a petition for approval of a newly elected co-adjustor Bishop had not been sent to the Queen; "The impression has prevailed very strongly here in this Diocese, that in consequence of the opinion expressed by the Law Officers of the Crown touching the relation between Church and the State in the Colonies, Her Majesty would be advised to abstain in future from indication of any jurisdiction over the Church in this Country..."
