On offer is an original manuscript document signed by Sir John Thomas Duckworth, (1748-1817) first Baronet, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Newfoundland [1810- 1813], Admiral , regarding a surrogate appointment, blanks not filled in, signed by Duckworth, undated but circa 1810. Three pages folio with horizontal and vertical folds. This item includes an original receipt and certificate of authenticity from a well known American dealer. VG.
