Daly of which 12 are dated Harvard [Massachusetts] from July 1862 through November 1881 and one undated save for August but no year. Mr. Daly writes his sister and brother in a few letters but the majority are addressed to Dear Sir and from the tone his Father or benefactor. Mr. Daly details family news and business from Harvard and relates information he has from other family flung across the north-east USA. Many Harvard and area related news such as his relating the burning down of Charles Dow's house in Pepperell.
