Dr. Saguece travels to Chaalons under instruction from 'Monsieur Le Duc' for the purpose of reporting on hospital conditions and to treat a number of patients. It appears that the Duke is recognized as a kind and generous man taking good care of the inhabitants of hat appears to be a geriatric hospital.
